Since starting with the company, Mike has continuously upheld Gurley Leep Subaru’s standards of taking care of his employees and customers.
When Mike isn’t working, you can find him volunteering in the community or umpiring baseball. Mike has umpired six baseball games at Wrigley Field in Chicago, making it no surprise that he has a dog named Wrigley. Along with the Cubs, Mike’s other favorite team to cheer on is the Green Bay Packers.

Eric Amellio-Ashbrook’s love for cars started with his first vehicle, a 1995 Chevy Camaro. Even though Eric been with Gurley Leep Subaru for a year, he has 7 years of experience working in the automotive industry. As a Sales Manager, Eric has a passion for creating the best customer experience. He truly cares about his customers and the people in our community. Eric’s favorite part of working at Gurley Leep Subarui is the community outreach by volunteering and donating.
Eric says Gurley Leep Subaru is like an extension of his family. Eric’s family is his pride and joy. When he’s not working, Eric is spending time with his husband, three kids, and their rescue pup named Atlas. He enjoys cooking and traveling, especially to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. With 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, Jared has been with Gurley Leep Subaru for nearly 3 years. As a Finance Manager for Gurley Leep Subaru, Jared’s favorite part of his job is helping change lives by assisting customers to buy safer and newer vehicles. It’s important to him that Gurley Leep Subaru helps provide for our community with integrity and respect.
When Jared’s not at work, he is watching sports and cheering on Notre Dame, no matter the team. He also enjoys watching movies, especially his favorite: Shawshank Redemption.
Bradley DeGarmo’s interest in cars started with his first vehicle, the Classic 1979 Ford LTD. Brad has been with Gurley Leep Subaru for 8 of the 9 years he’s worked in the automotive industry. As a Finance Manager for Gurley Leep Subaru, Brad loves his job for its fun atmosphere, great coworkers, and working for a family-driven business.
Brad’s pride and joy is his family. He’s proud to be a husband and father of four children, two German Shepherds, and two cats. When Brad isn’t working, you might find him playing softball, video games, or camping with his family. He also enjoys helping the community by doing charity and missionary work through his church. One of his favorite memories at Gurley Leep was the Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Center for the Homeless in South Bend.

When Kirk isn’t working, he’s watching his favorite sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers, or spending time with his family. As a true family-oriented man, Kirk’s favorite place to vacation is California to visit relatives. Connor Kuiper has 4 years of experience working in the automotive industry with Gurley Leep Subaru. As a Sales Professional at Gurley Leep Hyundai, Connor’s favorite part of his job is his coworkers. “We are all a family within the store.”
Connor’s most memorable experience while working with Gurley Leep Subaru was when he went on a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. After all, his favorite vacation spot is anywhere warm. Connor isn’t a fan of winter, because he would rather be out playing golf. If he’s not golfing, he also enjoys playing baseball, bowling, and watching the Green Bay Packers play.
In the past year, David Gring experienced numerous monumental moments while working as a Sales Professional for Gurley Leep Subaru. His favorite memory was his first time selling three cars to walk-in customers in a single day. David enjoys meeting new people daily and working to solve problems with his team. Teamwork is vital to David, which is why working for a family company like Gurley Leep Subaru, is so important to him. His coworkers know the key to his heart is either Mango Juice or Combos.
When David’s not teaming up with his Gurley Leep Subaru associates, he’s out playing sports on other teams. It’s no surprise his favorite movie to watch is Remember the Titans. You can find him cheering on the Chicago Cubs or any Notre Dame team that’s playing, just as any true Michiana resident would.
Even though David has been to nine different countries, his favorite place to go on a vacation is San Diego, California.
Jonathan Coburn’s first car was a 2000 Hyundai Sonata, making it no surprise he’s enjoyed the past year working as a Sales Professional for Gurley Leep Subaru. Jon’s motto epitomizes Gurley Leep’s ethos: “I don’t sell cars, I help people.” One of his favorite moments while working for the company was when he helped pay half of a down payment for someone who desperately needed a car. At Gurley Leep, you’re not just a customer, you’re family.
As a family-oriented man, Jon can be found spending his off days with his family, watching movies. His favorite movie to watch is Batman: The Dark Knight. Jon may not have a favorite sports team, but just as any other Michiana resident, he will always cheer for Notre Dame.
